ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ ranked Top private HBCU in North Carolina

Charlotte, N.C. / April 21, 2021 –ÌýÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ is once again taking top honors among HBCUs.Ìý, a unique college ratings website that aggregates publisher rankings and student reviews, has published its annual ranking of the Best Historically Black Colleges and Universities for 2021 and JCSU leads as the top private HBCU in the state.Ìý

The 2021 ranking is an increase from last year’s rankings, when the university was among the top 3 private institutions in the state. 2021 College Consensus rankings also reveal JCSU is one of the top 3 HBCUs in North Carolina among public and private institutions.

For the second consecutive year, Duke Energy Corporation hosted a comprehensive Career Development & Professionalism WorkshopÌýaimed at empowering students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in today’s competitive job market.Ìý The event took place on Saturday, Nov. 2, in the James B. Duke Library where Duke Energy provided breakfast, lunch, and numerous giveaways. The POWER UP Bootcamp attracted a diverse group of more than 33 undergraduate students from various majors who were eager to enhance their career readiness and skills as well as develop other essential professional competencies.
