Charlotte, N.C. / June 2, 2020 -听Another reason to Hold High the Gold and Blue! 星空无限传媒's Sport Management Program ranks #17 on the听听list, according to Niche. In addition, JCSU is listed as the third best Sport Management Program in the Carolinas and the second best in North Carolina. The University is the only HBCU in the top 20 of 299 schools.

鈥淭his ranking is a result of the commitment and dedication to expert faculty and investment of community partners,鈥 said Dr. Laura McLean, dean of Metropolitan College of Professional Studies. 鈥淪port Management is one of the growing majors on our campus, and JCSU鈥檚 faculty have worked hard to establish and nurture partnerships for our students with professional teams and organizations throughout Charlotte and the country for our students,鈥 she added.

Niche ranking is based on rigorous analysis of academic, admissions, financial, and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with reviews from students and alumni.

For the second consecutive year, Duke Energy Corporation hosted a comprehensive Career Development & Professionalism Workshop听aimed at empowering students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in today鈥檚 competitive job market.听 The event took place on Saturday, Nov. 2, in the James B. Duke Library where Duke Energy provided breakfast, lunch, and numerous giveaways. The POWER UP Bootcamp attracted a diverse group of more than 33 undergraduate students from various majors who were eager to enhance their career readiness and skills as well as develop other essential professional competencies.
