Faculty, staff and returning students gathered in front of Biddle Hall Monday morning to make sure the newest members of the Golden Bulls family knew where they were headed.

Campus was alive with excitement Friday as new Golden Bulls moved into their residence halls.��

�ǿ����޴�ý students can now earn a Bachelor of Science degree from JCSU and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Howard University in a seven-year dual degree program.

Rachel Allison ’23, a social work major, aspires to one day own her own child protective agency specializing in addressing the needs of children impacted by sexual trauma.

Tasia Bolling ’22 was nearing the end of senior year, and found herself connecting with the Smith Tech Innovation Center to hone her skills in hopes of finding a job after graduation.

This summer is much more than “business as usual” for two JCSU computer science majors.��

Hannah Anderson ’23 and Paige Davis ’23 are spending a week of their summer at Harvard Business School participating in the university’s Summer Venture Management Program in Boston. This distinguished program accepts only 180 students each year and is aimed at increasing diversity and opportunity in business education and global commerce.��

President Clarence D. Armbrister, Hornets President and Vice Chairman Fred Whitfield and Barings Chairman and CEO Mike Freno cut the ribbon to unveil a new self-service kiosk to allow students greater access to technology on campus.��

�ǿ����޴�ý received a $50,000 gift from Harris Teeter to support the campus food pantry in tackling food insecurity among students. The gift, which will be spread over five years, is part of Harris Teeter’s commitment to combat foot insecurity at five Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the grocery chain’s market areas. ��

Niya Culbreth ’22 was wrapping up her senior year, prepared to relax before crossing the stage at JCSU to receive her diploma.��

Little did the Criminology student know, she’d have the opportunity to not only intern with Mecklenburg County ABC Board, but start an ongoing partnership with the agency for future JCSU students.��

Keiona Marshall ’22 was awarded a $5,000 scholarship by the Philadelphia Foundation, the organization which oversees the Luther and Mary Ida Vandross Scholarship. It is the highest amount awarded for the scholarship.
