�ǿ����޴�ý was recently named to the Intelligent.com top Online Colleges in North Carolina list for 2023.


JCSU’s program placed No. 26 on the list of 29, surpassing North Carolina universities Queens University Charlotte, William Peace University and Lenoir-Rhyne University.

Dr. Kendal Mobley, Spiritual Life coordinator and associate professor of Religion, has been working with Student Affairs to plan a week-long celebration of spirituality from Sept. 26 to 30.


“Spirituality week is the first step to renewing the vitality of Spiritual Life on this campus,” said Mobley. “Offering opportunities in a safe, friendly and nurturing setting for our students to express their feelings, explore new ideas and have their spiritual needs met is important for a university like ours.”

Three �ǿ����޴�ý professors joined dozens of other teaching professionals at the National Humanities Center this past summer to advance research and teaching in their respective fields.

Dr. Debra Terrell, associate professor of Psychology; Dr. Felesia Stukes, assistant professor of Computer Science; and Dr. Tyler Bunzey, visiting assistant professor of Cultural Studies all participated.

After an extensive national search, �ǿ����޴�ý announces the appointment of Dr. Nicole McDonald as senior vice president for Transformation Initiatives (SVPTI). As SVPTI, she will lead and manage the development and execution of a comprehensive transformation agenda to support the University’s Gold(en) Blueprint strategic plan. McDonald comes to JCSU from University of Houston, where she served as assistant vice provost for Student Success Strategies. She begins her tenure at �ǿ����޴�ý.

Hundreds of guests gathered at Knight Theater Wednesday to discuss diversity in golf as a part of the Charlie Sifford Centennial celebration and to kick off the week-long Presidents Cup tournament.

As a part of the diversity, equity and inclusion discussion, President Clarence D. Armbrister and Miss JCSU Essence Winston joined Florida Sen. Shevrin Jones to discuss the importance of including HBCUs in partnerships and employment pipelines to further diversity, not just in the golfing industry, but all facets of business.

Faculty, staff and returning students gathered in front of Biddle Hall Monday morning to make sure the newest members of the Golden Bulls family knew where they were headed.

�ǿ����޴�ý kicked off the start of the fall 2022 semester with an Opening School Conference featuring a speech from President Clarence D. Armbrister.

�ǿ����޴�ý faculty and staff gathered at the Hilton – University Place to discuss the successes of various University projects funded by U.S. Department of Education Title III Program.��

Dr. Terza Lima-Neves, chair of Social and Behavioral Sciences and associate professor of Political Science, took a shot at applying for the International Women’s Forum (IWF) Fellows Program in 2020-21.
