The Gardner-Webb University Department of Physician Assistant (PA) Medicine has announced a partnership with �ǿ����޴�ý (JCSU). Through this new agreement, JCSU graduates who are interested in a career as a certified PA can apply for a Reserve Applicant spot with the Gardner-Webb PA program and waive a total of $1,700 in fees.

�ǿ����޴�ý made a special effort to inform students, faculty and staff about how they can build braver community practices during a workshop at noon on April 11.��

�ǿ����޴�ý President Clarence D. Armbrister today announced his planned retirement at the end of the semester in June, drawing praise for his leadership from the university’s Board of Trustees, which soon will begin a comprehensive search for his successor.

Jaki Shelton Green, ninth Poet Laureate of North Carolina, visited �ǿ����޴�ý answering questions from students, faculty, staff and guests, as well as sharing stories of her life and her poetry.

Today, leadership for �ǿ����޴�ý and Central Piedmont Community College announced “JCSU Connect”– a new bachelor’s degree pathway that will expand college access to more students in Charlotte-Mecklenburg and beyond. This new collaboration is part of JCSU President Clarence D. Armbrister’s mission to help address the lack of economic upward mobility in Charlotte by providing local students a guided pathway to earn bachelor’s degrees from JCSU.
