JCSU is among the top 50 universities in the nation and the top 7 HBCUs in the Best Bachelor’s Degrees in Biology category as ranked by��Study.com.

In an effort to safely return to normalcy for the fall 2021 semester, �ǿ����޴�ý is requiring students to receive COVID-19 vaccinations. In order to return to campus for the 2021-2022 academic school year, students must complete the vaccination process by Friday, July 30, 2021.

�ǿ����޴�ý has been chosen as a 2021 Women’s Impact Fund grantee.

Biddle Memorial Hall was the site of another moment in �ǿ����޴�ý history as Wells Fargo gave a $1 million grant to the University.

Dr. Alma S. Adams, representative for the 12th��congressional district of North Carolina, will deliver the keynote address during �ǿ����޴�ý’s commencement exercises for the Class of 2020 and the Class of 2021 at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2021.

�ǿ����޴�ý is once again taking top honors among HBCUs.��College Consensus, a unique college ratings website that aggregates publisher rankings and student reviews, has published its annual ranking of the Best Historically Black Colleges and Universities for 2021 and JCSU leads as the top private HBCU in the state.��

The Alpha Epsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is taking top honors among the fraternity’s undergraduate chapters.

�ǿ����޴�ý has been awarded a $35,000 Humanities Connections Planning Grant by The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) to research and develop a Digital Innovation (DI) program.

Dr. Marsha Rhee, associate professor of English, is a HistoryMakers 2020 Innovations in Pedagogy Teaching Fellowship Award recipient. She is the only educator from an HBCU represented in this fellowship.��

Today, leadership for �ǿ����޴�ý and Central Piedmont Community College announced “JCSU Connect”– a new bachelor’s degree pathway that will expand college access to more students in Charlotte-Mecklenburg and beyond. This new collaboration is part of JCSU President Clarence D. Armbrister’s mission to help address the lack of economic upward mobility in Charlotte by providing local students a guided pathway to earn bachelor’s degrees from JCSU.
